For years, I did everything an architect is supposed to do: good student, work at a renowned office, my own practice, a late PhD, and four years of teaching. Then I realized it was time to give something back and produce, not only through buildings and interiors, but also through other architectural forms, such as architectural-writing and architectural-painting.

Federico Perugini (Rome, 1982) is an architect based in Turin. He is the founder of the studio Politi e Perugini (Turin, Milan) and holds a PhD in Architecture, with a dissertation titled The Poetics of the Reinforced Concrete Frame (2020).
He is currently a resident at Flashback Habitat in Turin, where he develops the architectural discipline through projects, texts, and technical paintings, exploring architecture beyond utilitarian frameworks.
He has worked as a lecturer at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and as a teaching assistant at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), the Politecnico di Milano, and IUAV University of Venice.
His professional experience includes collaborations with OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen (Brussels) and West 8 (Rotterdam). He was a Borromini Fellow at the Mendrisio Academy, in the diploma atelier of Elia Zenghelis, and holds a degree in Architecture from Roma Tre University.
